Gift Wrap Direct was founded in 1997 by Ian Coughlin. Having been involved in the Greeting Card Industry since the age of 19 when he founded his first business, selling Greetings Cards to retailers in the Northwest Ian and his father Ron ventured into retail selling Cards, Gifts and paper products to the general public.

As part of a natural progression and through customer demand the company invested in a series of large format printers  to supply other local businesses with banners, leaflets, posters and various other print products.

The business has never looked back since even grabbing the attention of  local councilor Marion Atkinson and Bootle MP Peter Dowd.

As a special request we even produced an Everton Mug for them. Not easy when you’re a die hard LFC fan!

Having had over 30 years in the wholesale, retail and print industry we’re in a great position to understand the needs of other businesses and the challenges they face. It is with this knowledge and passion for producing great innovative designs that we continue to grow our client base and businesses.

With our own retail base and print studio we supply both the public and trade with top class products whist always considering our environmental impact by using water based inks as much as possible and recycling any waste paper through the local schools for their art work projects.
